Nothing Is Ordinary — Plate

Dark brown stoneware, this plate is handmade and high-fired, shaped slowly by hand and finished in small batches. The surface carries natural variation in colour, texture, and form, created through the interaction of clay, water, and fire.

Each piece is slightly different in weight, edge, and glaze movement, making every plate unique. These variations are intentional and reflect the making process rather than industrial uniformity.

Designed for daily use, the plate is durable, food safe, and suitable for everyday meals.

Over time, marks and patina will develop, adding depth and character to the surface. Irregularities in shape and finish are not flaws but traces of the hand and the kiln.

Due to the spontaneous nature of the manual construction work, each serving dish will carry its own brand in completely unique ways:

  • Small size 17,5 cm diameter X 3,5 cm tall

  • Large 21 cm diameter X 6,5 cm tall

  • Dishwasher and microwave safe, handwash recommended.

  • Hand built

  • Available in two different sizes: small and large
